The Che Arthur Three features multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/sound engineer/producer Che Arthur, former guitarist of the regarded Chicago quartet Atombombpocketknife. Like Revenge, Arthur’s third album, forges together the elements of postpunk, classic heavy rock and dark acoustic intropection – already there in his past work – in the most cohesive way a Che Arthur record has done yet.
Che’s music defies easy description, but think “Chavez meets Crazy Horse and they have some drinks with Neurosis while listening to early Sunny Day Real Estate” and you might get close.
