Head of Skulls! hail from Chicago and boast former and current members of Milemarker, Pinebender, Atombombpocketknife, Tight Phantomz, Hurl and more. They’re a 3-piece, loud as balls, full-on rock band that reminds us of a time when rock bands were still actually good sometimes. To put it a different way, we like Superchunk, Black Flag, Wire, Hot Snakes, Devo and Head of Skulls!
You Became Your Mind, their first LP, is a ten-song assault of bitchin’ riffs, rumbly, melodic bass, and, really, some of the best drumming we’ve ever heard. You’d do well to add this record to your life.
